Abstrak

Buku ini menyajikan pemahaman mendalam mengenai sistem pertanian tumpangsari sebagai strategi berkelanjutan yang menciptakan harmoni antara produktivitas lahan dan pelestarian lingkungan. Dimulai dari pengenalan konsep dasar dan prinsip-prinsip tumpangsari, pembaca diajak memahami bagaimana pengelolaan nutrisi dan siklus hara dijalankan dalam pola tanam majemuk ini. Buku ini mengulas peran tumpangsari dalam pengendalian hama dan penyakit secara alami, peningkatan efisiensi sumber daya, dan pelestarian keanekaragaman hayati. Dibahas pula kontribusinya terhadap ketahanan pangan, serta metode untuk mengukur efektivitas praktik ini. Dari sisi sosial-ekonomi, buku ini menyoroti tingkat adopsi oleh petani serta potensi pemberdayaan masyarakat. Tantangan dan peluang tumpangsari dalam mewujudkan pertanian berkelanjutan juga diulas, termasuk pemanfaatan teknologi citra dan geospasial untuk optimalisasi pola tanam.
