Abstrak

Buku "Budidaya Ikan Air Tawar" ini disusun sebagai panduan lengkap bagi para pembudidaya ikan air tawar, baik pemula maupun yang sudah berpengalaman. Buku ini terdiri dari beberapa bab yang membahas setiap aspek penting dalam budidaya ikan air tawar secara sistematis dan terperinci. Bab 1 memberikan pengantar mengenai budidaya ikan air tawar, menjelaskan keuntungan serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam bidang ini. Bab 2 membahas berbagai jenis ikan air tawar yang populer dibudidayakan, seperti nila, lele, gurame, dan patin. Bab 3 berfokus pada pemilihan lokasi yang tepat serta persiapan lahan untuk mendukung kelancaran proses budidaya. Di Bab 4, desain dan konstruksi kolam yang efisien. Pemilihan dan penyediaan benih yang berkualitas dijelaskan di Bab 5, diikuti dengan panduan mengenai pakan dan nutrisi yang tepat di Bab 6. Bab 7 menguraikan pengelolaan kualitas air sebagai faktor utama keberhasilan budidaya. Bab 8 membahas pengendalian hama dan penyakit untuk menjaga kesehatan ikan. Teknik pemeliharaan dan perawatan dibahas mendalam di Bab 9, dengan penekanan pada efisiensi produksi. Terakhir, Bab 10 mengupas cara panen dan pascapanen yang baik agar hasil produksi dapat dimaksimalkan. Dengan materi yang lengkap dan praktis, buku ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi utama dalam budidaya ikan air tawar.
